5th VEGAN RUN – ‘’Easier than you think’’

  1. Promotion of running as the simplest form of movement
  2. Promotion of physical activity, wellness and plant-based diet among Polish people, particularly from Warsaw and neighbouring areas.
  3. Implementation of health protection and promotion actions, concerning working against alcoholism and domestic violence.
  4. Implementation of actions in favour of national minorities.
  5. Education regarding respecting the public space and pro-ecological actions towards preservation of the riverside areas.

  1. The run will take place on 24th of September 2016 at Park Skaryszewski and Kamionkowskie Błonia Elekcyjne in Warsaw.
  2. The start / finish zone will be located on the main avenue of the Park entrance from Ronda Waszyngtona.
  3. Rout of the run leads off gravel and asphaltic path of Park and Common.
  4. Within the event will take place:
  • run for 5 km
  • run for 10 km
  • walk/run for a distance of approximately 1.8 km ;associated event with separate rules, hereinafter ” Walk for health”.
  • runs for children, an associated event with a separate regulations.



  1. To participate in the main race for the distance of 5 or 10 km, you have to be at least 16 years old in the day of the event. Minors can take part only upon the basis of a written consent of their parents or legal guardians.
  2. Being allowed to enter competition is conditioned by earlier online registration and regulating starting fee.
  3. The order of fees is vital in rights to take part in the run. Organiser reserves the right to close the registration earlier if the participants limit is exhausted, or to increase the pool of starting kits.
  4. Being allowed to enter competition is conditioned by signing a representation on absence of contraindications for participation in the race, which will be available at the Race Office. For minors the document has to be signed by parents or legal guardians.
  5. Participants are required to became acquainted with the map of the Run route available on the
  6. Each participant is required to put the start number visible to the judges, participants and supporters, for the duration of the event.
  7. The player bears full responsibility for their own actions and omissions , in particular within the scope of respecting the traffic regulations and provisions of civil law.
  8. Decisions of medical staff regarding continuation of the race by the participant are final and irrevocable.



  1. You can register for VEGAN RUN – EASIER THAN YOU THINK by filling a registration form, available on the following website: . On-line registration closes on 20th of September 2016 at 23:59.
  2. Limits of Vegan Run participants are:
  • 5 km run is limited to 500 contestants
  • 10 km run is limited to 500 contestants
  • 1,8 km „Spacer po zdrowie” is limited to 500 contestants

3. After the limit is exceeded, on-line registration will be closed, unless the Organizer decides otherwise.

4. Participants, who have registered for the race on-line, are obliged to settle the entry fees using online payments. The date of the payment shall be the date of order to transfer.

5. On the starting list will appear ONLY names of the participants, who will register properly and their payment will be successfully credited to our account with the right amount  compatible with the date of booking. The starting list will be available under following address:

6. Entry fee paid after 1st of September does not guarantee receiving the entirety of services included in the starting kit.

7. Fee will be considered invalid if the competitor does not register for the race electronically, registration is done after the deadline or after the limit of participants is exhausted. All this deposits will be convey by the Organizator  in favoure of Schroniska w Korabiewicach.

8. Entry fee for participating in the Run is respectively according to the table below. The height of the fee is adequate to the date of order to transfer.

  • People of 70 years of age and older (born on 1946 and earlier) are exempt from the entry fee.

9. Adjustment of distance, return, rotation of participants:

10. Entry fee will not be reimbursed once paid, because of inability to participate. In this situation you can:

11. Transferring an entry fee to cover participation of a different competitor after earlier reporting this to the Organiser. Delating with the date of both participants has to be sent by an e-mail to

  • Exchange entry fee for T-shirt with the logo of Run Vegan Team.

13. Adjustment of distance is possible after paying extra difference in price. If you change to a shorter distance, Organiser would not return the difference in price.

14. The condition of any of these actions is to purchase the building block of Vegan Run ( 5 zł ) for Schronisko w Korabiewicach Fundacji Viva!.

15. The deadline for making changes is 11 September 2016 .


  1. Collecting of the starting kits will be possible in the Race Office:

a. on Thursday 22nd of September from 13.00 to 19.00
b. on Friday 23rd of September from 13.00 to 19.00
c. on Saturday 24th of September, at the race day, from 7.30 to 13.00

2. Location of the Race Office will be announced on the website of the run later. URL  of Vegan Run is

NOTE : On the race day collecting starting kids ends 60 minutes before the start of       the distance.

3. When receiving the starting kit, competitors are obliged to have a valid identity document with picture for the purpose of confirming their personal data and age.

4. Organiser projects possibility of collecting the starting kit by another person based on the original „Authority”, including handwritten signature of  the entitled and personal dates (PESEL) of the entitled and after showing a valid identity document by  authorised. Exemplification of „Authority” will be available on the website of the Vegan Run.

5. People, who have paid the entry fee after the 20th of September and did not receive confirmation of assigning a starting number, are obliged to present the bank transfer confirmation at the race office.

6. Every competitor will receive a starting kit covered by the entry fee, including:

  • Number bid with time tracking chip
  • Vegan Pasta Party voucher to use during the event.
  • commemorative chimney with the logo of the Vegan Run

as well as following services:

  • medical assistance
  • personal accidents insurance
  • bag for clothes (in deposit)
  • still water and an isotonic drink at the finish line
  • medal at the finish line


NOTE: Starting kit including the entire package of services is not guaranteed for people, who register and pay entry fee after 28th of September 2016.

7. Uncollected in the Race Office starting kids will not be spend or sent at a later date. The content of packages will be pass as gifts , among others, including Volunteers supporting realisation of the Run .


  1. Organiser projects following classifications:
  • General classification for men and women (OPEN).
  • Age classifications:
  1. M/K to 29 years old
  2. M/K 30-49 years old
  3. M/K to 50+


2. Winners of I-III places in the K/M OPEN classification and in age classifications of K/M will receive trophy cups.

3. Organizers have also planned  souvenirs or commemorative trophies in categories:

  • „The most interesting costumes” –  for 3 competitors dressed in the most interesting way on any distance, including races for kids.
  • ” Unique Dog Vegan Run” – for 3 dogs that take off at any distance of the event.
  • The oldest woman and man competitor, who will take part and finish distance of 5 or 10 km.

The selection of both costumes and dogs make a jury selected by the Organizers.

  1. The results of all runs will be published on the website and circulated in the media. The organizer reserves the right to publish the results also in a different form .


  1. Place of the event, Park Skaryszewski in Warsaw is easily accessible by public transport. Details on
  2. Organizer provides dressing rooms, separate for men and for women.
  3. Organizer provides deposit in a tent located on the race’s venue, near the start/finish line. Deposited items can be returned only on the basis of a starting number. In the event of a number bib being lost by the Competitor, Organizer is indemnified from responsibility for deposited items being returned to a different person. Organizer bears no responsibility for valuable items and/or documents stored in the deposit.
  4. Organizer provides medical assistance on the route and finishing line of the race.
  5. Every competitor has personal accidents insurance, ransom by the Organizer.


  1. Time shall will be measured by digital chip devices, attached to your bib number.
  2. The order of the finishers confirms the jury, whose decisions are final.
  3. Competitors are bound by time limit.
  •  in a 5 km run: 45 minutes
  •  in a 10 km run: 90 minutes
  • in a 1,8  km run: 30 minutes

4. Competitors, who resign or fail to finish the race, are obliged to leave the track and take off the number bib.


  1. Personal data of VEGAN RUN – EASIER THAN YOU THINK participants will be used in accordance with the provisions of the Polish Act of 29th August 1997 on personal data protection (Journal of Laws of 2002, No. 101 pos. 926). The data will be administrated by the Organizer of the event. Competitor has the right to access his personal data and correct it any time by directing statement to the address of the Organizer.
  2. Processing of the data mentioned in the paragraph 1 of the section hereby in regard to participation in VEGAN RUN – EASIER THAN YOU THINK also involves publishing name and surname of a competitor, including the name of a city/town he lives in – in any way or design in which the project is going to be released.
  3. By submitting a correctly filled and signed entry form to Organizer, participant approves processing and using his personal data for the purpose of sending information to participant regarding future events, as well as for internal analytical and administrative purposes, in accordance with the act on personal data protection of 29th of August 1997, Journal of Laws, No. 33 pos. 883.
  4. Submission of personal data and approval for its processing is voluntary. However, you cannot participate in the VEGAN RUN – EASIER THAN YOU THINK if you fail to submit personal data or you don’t agree for it being processed.


  1. Rules and regulations hereby regard all participants of the VEGAN RUN.
  2. By signing up to participate in the Run participant accepts the Terms and agrees to free, unlimited by time and territory use of his image for the promotion of events prepared by the organizer.
  3. Organizer reserves right to interview participants, to take photographs of them and film them for the advertising and promotional purposes, as well as using these media in the Internet, radio and TV broadcasts and for other commercial purposes.
  4. Organizer reserves right to free, unpaid use, all around the world, of all and any photographs, video and audio recordings and interviews involving competitors. They can be used by the Organizer by being recorded on CD-ROM, DVD data storage medias, in catalogues and media releases, on websites, in newspapers and magazines, in exhibitions, as well as for promotional and advertising purposes related to Organizer’s activity.
  5. It is forbidden to bring to the venue of the race any intoxicating or illegal stimulants, performance enhancers or alcoholic beverages of any kind. Competitors are also prohibited to use such stimulants and/or substances both prior to and during the race. Breaking this rule will result in being dismissed from the race. In the event of competitor breaking this rule, Organizer reserves the right to not allow the competitor to participate in the race or dismiss him from participation during the race.
  6. Organizer reserves right to cancel the event without disclosing the cause. Race will be held regardless of the weather conditions.
  7. Issues not regulated by the rules hereby will be settled by the Organizer

  9. Organizer of VEGAN RUN – EASIER THAN YOU THINK reserves ability to apply changes to the rules and regulations hereby and will inform all users about these changes prior to the event on its website.
  10. Final and binding interpretation of rules and regulations hereby is exclusively owed by the Organizer.
